Once in a Blue Moon

Rich in color and texture, this kitchen and adjacent living area stays true to the clients’ style. The nod to midcentury and art deco time periods is a feature the clients wanted to carry throughout the home. It is accentuated by bold patterns and unique art, and completely brought to life by color. In addition to aesthetics, functionality and maximizing space were very important in this kitchen. While the kitchen does not have a traditional pantry, it does include unique organizational opportunities to solve storage issues. We expanded the size of the island and raised the height of the upper cabinets, opening the room and creating a space the clients truly want to spend time in. This was an incredible project for incredible clients; the type of project that only comes along once in a blue moon.
